The Vice President of In-Home Services is a member of the Lifeworks leadership team and serves as a strategic partner, collaborator, and enterprise level thought partner.

The Vice President of In-Home Services is primarily responsible for contributing to the development of program strategies, setting priorities, establishing goals, and program performance criteria for the organization.

In partnership with the CGO and Lifeworks leadership team, the Vice President is responsible for establishing a strategic vision and guiding philosophy that will guide both short- and long-term programmatic goals and the advancement of those efforts.

Location:

Lifeworks Services – Richfield / 20% in-person

Compensation:

$125,000 - $135,000/year

Pass a background study with the Department of Human Services, a drug test, clean driving record {work with HR if required for role} and have reliable transportation to use for work driving purposes (e.g., in-office, on-site training locations, etc.).

How you’ll be spending your time:

Leading the development of policies and procedures aligning service delivery with the requirements of government contracts, grants, foundations, or as otherwise required by the organization.

Creating and executing quarterly and annual operating plans that meet or exceed growth, financials, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement targets as well as other prioritized metrics.

Gathering and utilizing timely market data to identify and create new product/service opportunities and exit others as appropriate to further long-term sustainability.

Supporting In-Home Services Sr. Managers to ensure mission viability across all service delivery. Promote cross-training between departments and strengthen career development.

Managing organizational and program risk in negotiations with vendors, partners, and government entities through the interpretation of compliance with licensing rules and regulations, statutes, and contract terms.

Strengthening community partner relationships to promote external resources and internal program development.

Participating in industry associations, government task forces, with both national and international collaborations to learn, build partnerships, and influence systems change.

Supporting community relations and fundraising efforts through networking, site visits, program presentations, events, and grant writing participation.

Building external relationships, collaborating, and partnering with other organizations to broaden services. Identify new prospects for relationship targets and strategize with the CGO.

Promoting program wins and client success stories throughout the organization including staff, funders, donors, and collaborative partners to keep individuals motivated and informed about Lifeworks.

Retaining current legislative proposals and the effects they may have on programs. Notify CGO of any potential negative/positive effects legislative proposals may have on organizational programming or funding to ensure we can advocate accordingly.

Selecting, supervising, and developing direct reports. Coaching, training, providing direction, and addressing performance issues.

Serving as a champion for Lifeworks’ culture and values. Promoting Lifeworks as an organization that attracts, retains, and motivates all personnel.

Collaborating effectively with all key stakeholders and level of employees within the organization.

Following safety procedures and assisting in identifying safety needs for self and others. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in the field of Business Management, Human Services and seven or more years of operational management experience required.

Seven or more years of non-profit program management experience preferred.

Fluent in English, verbal and written.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Supervisory Responsibility:

This position has direct reports and manages the In-Home Services team.
