Global Data Conversion Template and Platform Lead (Digital Core)

Job Description:
The Global Data Conversion Template and Platform Lead reports to the Data Quality and Governance Officer and is responsible for building a global data migration platform with Mars' selected partner Syniti. The platform will be used by Enterprise, Segment, and Deployment teams to execute data analysis, cleansing, transformation, testing (simulation), and loading of data to the S4 target. This role will also be responsible for building the Enterprise migration template, working closely with Mars Global Services, Business Process Experts, Syniti Partner, and system integrators. This role will ensure that scope, development time, and deliverables are fully aligned with Enterprise (shared) functionality, delivered to Segments for further segment-specific enhancements. Particular focus will be on establishing a successful development and change management approach utilizing expertise from IBM and Syniti. The role holder will communicate progress, resolve, and where appropriate escalate issues that may impact the data migration plan.
What are we looking for?
Bachelor’s degree in business or similar, or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in Data Management in a complex environment (large international enterprise).
3-5 years of recent experience in leading data migration activities.
Knowledge of SAP ECC, S4/HANA data models for master data domains.
Experience with ETL tools.
Delivering data migration projects using Syniti ADMM product is highly desirable and will be a significant advantage.
Good communication skills – clear and concise communication to senior management.
Delivery-oriented – ability to find solutions and change approach when deadlines or dependencies change.
Managing partners – work closely with 2-3 partners (3rd party) on shared deliverables.
Dealing with ambiguity – ability to operate in a rapidly changing project environment and navigate uncertainties.
Stakeholder management – proactively work with segment stakeholders to understand and manage their expectations.
What will be your key responsibilities?
Ownership of Syniti ADMM platform for Mars for Digital Core project.
Establish required governance to ensure reliability and supportability of the platform for the duration of the data migration.
Working with partners – define operating model for Data Factory – set of resources, tools, and governance processes for data migration.
Lead development and testing of the Enterprise data migration Template.
Setup collaboration with Segment Template development and deployment team.
Own handover (fork) of Enterprise Template to Segment development.
Working with partners and deployment team to setup post-implementation review and Template improvement process.
Closely collaborate with MDG, S4, Global Process Owners, and Segment leads to ensure Template is fit for purpose.
Regular review and reporting of deliverables against agreed plan.
Communication.
Driving for results.
Functional and Technical skills:
Leading SAP data migration using SYNITI ADMM.
Knowledge of SAP Data Model and integration.
Experience with Azure platform capabilities and other modern integration (ETL), API, and Database technologies.
Experience with Collibra Data Quality, Business Catalogue, and lineage is an advantage.
