As the Marketing Automation Manager you will lead execution and optimization of automated lead nurturing and conversion campaigns aligned to business growth and consumer brand marketing strategies for James Hardie Building Products.

You will drive sustainable results focusing on lower funnel engagement and conversion with consumers and trade professionals. This should be done by developing a deep understanding of our consumer segments and the consumer decision journeys that they go through.

In this role you will be responsible for achieving established KPI targets through nurturing programs that will grow our business. You will also act as a strategic business partner to the media, demand-generation and digital marketing teams to ensure that campaigns and partnerships are aligned with the goals of driving growth.

You will use advanced analytics techniques to drive a deeper understanding of customer behavior and provide actionable insights. In this role you will perform various functions, including analyzing customer data to provide support for Sales and Marketing efforts, manage and optimize our marketing automation platform, Marketo, provide useful insight on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns; and helping to initiate and implement CRM initiatives to boost brand preference and customer retention.

The ideal candidate has marketing automation and lifecycle management experience focused on acquisition, engagement and conversion for high-cost consumer purchases that have a complex decision journey.

In this role you will report to the Director of Digital Experience and Demand Generation.

What You'll Do:

Be the quarterback of automated nurture programs in Marketo to optimize performance, improve conversion and lead implantation of new nurture initiatives. Work with digital and brand team stakeholders to implement and manage email nurture campaigns across the customer lifecycle. Experience managing SMS campaigns. Develop email assets and campaign builds. Leverage consumer segmentation, decision journey and path-to-purchase data to optimize and expand campaigns. Oversee campaign performance reporting and analytics to inform channel optimization and improve overall campaign results. Oversee data integrity and marketing automation platform maintenance to ensure efficient operations. Manage integrations that support marketing partner, reporting and CRM integrations. Assist in management of our marketing tech stack - from our marketing automation platform to data enrichment. Create and optimize marketing processes - from campaign launch to data cleanliness. Analyze and drive strategy based on what will make the most incremental impact.

What You'll Bring:

A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or 8+ years of experience. 8+ years' experience with CRM/database marketing and customer analytics, with strong preference given to those experienced with Marketo and Salesforce.com. Experience with HTML. Strong technical and creative skills, especially with written communication. Must be proficient in utilizing Microsoft Office products, including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Ability to develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work. Strong attention to detail and possess the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously to enable the effective management of internal and external relationships. Strong organizational and time management skills. Independent thinker with the ability to prioritize work and creatively solve problems. Capable of working with multiple departments and personnel. Positive, do what it takes attitude. Thrives in a fast moving and lean team environment. Leadership skills that encourage employees to achieve goals and create a team environment.
