is a progressive full-service animal hospital seeking our next Veterinarian to complement our team that includes 4 full-time veterinarians and one part-time. Pikesville Animal Hospital has been a center of pet care excellence for over 15 years in the Baltimore area, founded by Dr. Carey Zumpano, an ABVP certified veterinarian with 27 years of experience. We take pride in providing a comprehensive range of medical, diagnostic, surgical, and dental services for our patients. Our hospital is designed to be a comfortable and pleasant environment for our clients and patients as well as a functional and efficient hospital for our staff.
Meet Our Team: Carey Zumpano: Founder of PAH, internship-trained, and certified by the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners (ABVP) in Canine/Feline Medicine. Kristine Covert: Is an internship trained veterinarian who has been with PAH for a bit over 8 years. Dr Covert is also trained in acupuncture. Rachel Hughes: Our valued team member for three years, Dr. Hughes brings eight years of professional experience to our hospital. Dana Mazur, RVT, CVPM: A seasoned practice manager who is dedicated to making the doctors, staff, and hospital succeed. Additionally, our most recent additions include Dr. Morgan Dvorkin and Dr. Martha Badura We have a great team of Registered Veterinary Technicians, and too many support staff to name individually. Each and every team member is here to help one another succeed in a common goal of patient care and client service. Unique Services Offered:
At Pikesville Animal Hospital, we stand out in the veterinary field by offering a range of unique services. These services include laparoscopy as a standard procedure for spays, surgical laser for specialized procedures, dental radiography, endoscopy, and two state-of-the-art ultrasound machines. Dr. Covert is trained in acupuncture, and we offer Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy, further enhancing our comprehensive offerings with alternative therapies. Just as important as the equipment we have is the trained support staff throughout the hospital. We have seven RVT’s on staff and have a culture that values continual improvement in everyone's skills from our CSR’s to our assistants. Our Community:

Our staff members reside in both Baltimore City and the surrounding areas, such as Catonsville, Owings Mills, Towson, Timonium, and Lutherville.
