Supermicro IT team is seeking a seasoned Senior Network Engineer to lead the global network engineering team projects in domains such as WAN, SDWAN, Wireless, Firewalls, MPLS, BGP, Cloud interconnectivity, Vendor management, Network planning, design, implementation, and management of extensive infrastructure across multiple geographical locations. Strong leadership, project management skills, and the ability to navigate the intersection of networking and security are crucial for success in this role. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of on-premises and cloud-based network infrastructure on a global scale. Develop and implement comprehensive global network strategies and solutions that align with business objectives. Design and optimize routing protocols, including BGP, SD-WAN and MPLS, for efficient data flow within the organization's worldwide network infrastructure. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud-based services into the global network architecture. Design and implement robust routing solutions to ensure optimal data transmission and network efficiency globally. Optimize WAN performance, addressing latency and bandwidth challenges, and implementing redundancy for high availability. Firewall networking, intercampus routing, SDN – Software defined networking, DR site routing, network monitoring experience is a must. Aruba wireless expertise is important to be successful In the role. Oversee the design and implementation of wireless networking solutions to provide seamless and secure connectivity for users across global locations. Integrate, optimize network connectivity for cloud services to enhance performance and reduce latency on a global scale. Collaborate with network equipment and service vendors to ensure the procurement of reliable and cost-effective solutions. Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and performance to meet organizational needs. Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's/Master's or equivalent degree in a relevant field. 8+ years of Network engineering & operations experiences. Aruba Wireless networking experience is required. Leadership Skills: Strong management & leadership and communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex challenges. Certifications: Plus, to have virtualization, networking, cloud, and security certs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Salary Range
$130,000 - $150,000 The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs. EEO Statement
