The Wealth Advisor Associate will provide support to seasoned four-person Wealth Advisor Team with over $1.5bn in assets under management. The Wealth Advisor Associate will serve as the primary point of contact for the operational and investment needs of client relationships. Responsibilities: Serve as regular point of contact for high net worth clients, endowments, foundations and family offices seeking solutions to complex issues including portfolio asset allocation and implementation, retirement planning, philanthropy, and estate planning. Provide world-class client service and investment advice tailored to the unique investment objectives, financial goals, suitability and risk tolerance of each client. Use broad understanding of the financial markets and the firm’s products to match appropriate solutions and services with each client’s financial circumstances, needs and objectives. Responsible for building and strengthening client relationships with Neuberger Berman. Establish credibility as a source of trustworthy advice by prioritizing the client’s investment objectives. Develop a consultative approach toward clients and prospects. Seek opportunities to grow business by cultivating relationships with third party referral sources (e.g., accountants, attorneys and other advisors). Maximize firm resources in order to provide best in class service to clients. Qualifications: Education: BA/BS required; MBA and/or CFA/CIMA/CFP preferred. Professional licenses: Series 7 and 66 required. Industry experience: Minimum of 10 years within the wealth management industry. Demonstrated experience handling complex financial planning. Expertise in managing the financial needs of high net worth clients. Ability to partner with client's other advisors (e.g., attorney, accountant, etc.), while demonstrating proficiency in articulating the firm’s value added proposition. Excellent interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills. Flexibility to travel. Compensation Details: The salary range for this role is $100,000-$110,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in California. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus.
