Overview
The Senior Associate, Investment is responsible for executing strategies developed by Managers and Associate Directors, including negotiating scatter needs, analyzing the need for AD weight, and implementing allocation and billing tools to facilitate a smooth transition from buy to air. Providing training and guidance to the Associates in all aspects of their responsibilities is critical. This is a hybrid role, requiring three days in-office each week. Responsibilities
Role Objectives: Negotiate cable purchases Create recommendation documents Develop and deliver POV/position papers on key issues/opportunities Oversee brand allocations and corporate ownership Manage Tardiis allocations Oversee billing discrepancies Check that schedules are inputted correctly Create documents for Mission Control Review/assist in post-buy analysis Analyze ADU packages
Qualifications
1+ years of traditional media buying expertise, national broadcast preferred Experience in media buying tools like Prisma, preferred Strong quantitative skills, including analytical abilities and math proficiency Solid verbal and written communication skills Acquisition and branding background and familiarity/proficiency with the following systems/tools: Mediaocean, MBox Nielsen Net Rating, Comscore, AdRelevance, eMarketer, Forrester, etc. Third-party ad measurement and traffic tools (e.g. Integral Ad Science) PowerPoint, Excel, Word Demonstrates critical thinking and problem-solving abilities Ability to work successfully with teams, handle multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines under pressure Detail-oriented and able to produce accurate work Demonstrates leadership skills
