Radiology Technology - Part-Time (Adjunct) Faculty Clinical Instruction

Sinclair is currently seeking part-time (adjunct) faculty for day, evening, and weekend courses at our downtown Dayton campus. Why work for Sinclair College? Tuition waiver for 3 credit hours per semester Structured opportunity for advancement and promotion Support for continued professional development and education STRS pension participation, with 14% employer contribution High quality programs and events for work-life balance Faculty mentoring available to aide transition from professional work to a teaching role Principal Accountabilities: Plan and organize instruction in ways which maximize student learning Prepare, distribute and submit syllabi for all assigned sections in accordance with department and divisional policies Employ appropriate teaching and learning strategies, use available instructional technology when appropriate Modify, where appropriate, instructional methods and strategies to meet diverse student’s needs Support classroom and online efforts to promote student success Evaluate and return student work in a timely manner to promote learning Maintain accurate records of student progress Submit final grade rosters according to established deadlines Maintain confidentiality of student information Cannot exceed maximum of 12 credit hours per semester Requirements: Minimum of an Associate’s degree in a related field required, Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred A minimum of two years of work experience in radiography as a certified ARRT radiographer required Must have up to date maintenance of an Ohio radiographer license required Successful clinical and teaching experience in radiologic technology is preferred Evidence of successful prior teaching experience is preferred A demonstrated commitment to improving student learning through innovative strategies shown to help students succeed at the course and program level Effective communication skills and interpersonal skills with the capacity to work successfully in a culturally diverse college community Must possess demonstrated skills in using modern educational technology, including multimedia-based instruction Official transcripts for all post-secondary degrees (if applicable) and successful completion of a background check will be required prior to date of hire.
