Position Summary: The Senior Director of Finance for Supply Chain and Real Estate will play a pivotal role in driving the financial strategy for the company’s capital investments and operational infrastructure. This senior leadership position is responsible for overseeing capital expenditures (CapEx) related to the development of new retail stores and distribution centers, ensuring alignment with long-term business goals. The role also includes collaborating with international markets to design scalable, efficient supply chain networks that support both brick-and-mortar and e-commerce growth. Additionally, the Senior Director will lead the development and refinement of a robust project evaluation process to assess the performance of CapEx investments post-implementation, ensuring that projects deliver on their expected outcomes. You will be partnering with leadership groups across Supply Chain, Strategy, Operations, and eCommerce, being a thought leader on high visibility and high impact projects. Key Responsibilities: CapEx Investment Strategy & Management: Lead the financial oversight of capital expenditures related to the development of new retail stores and supply chain distribution centers globally, ensuring projects align with the company’s growth strategy and financial goals. Work with real estate, operations, and supply chain teams to evaluate and approve new store and distribution center locations, ensuring optimal financial returns and alignment with market demand. Manage the capital budgeting process for supply chain infrastructure, ensuring alignment with the company’s financial strategy, profitability goals, and long-term operational plans. Global Supply Chain Network Design & Support: Partner with international markets to design supply chain networks (including distribution centers, warehouses, transportation hubs, and store locations) that are scalable, cost-effective, and able to support both e-commerce and brick-and-mortar business channels. Provide financial insights and support to regional teams in evaluating supply chain designs, including forecasting capital requirements, operational expenses, and expected returns on investment. Evaluate the financial impact of global supply chain strategies, including transportation and logistics costs, real estate investments, and technology integration, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. Project Evaluation & Post-Implementation Review: Establish clear financial KPIs and benchmarks to track the performance of completed projects against initial financial projections, including cost overruns, return on investment (ROI), payback periods, and contribution to business growth. Collaborate with project managers and functional leaders to conduct post-mortem analyses of projects, identifying lessons learned and areas for improvement in future investments. Ensure that all projects are delivering expected outcomes, working closely with operational teams to understand any gaps between financial expectations and actual performance. Financial Reporting & Risk Management: Oversee the creation of financial models and business cases for large-scale capital projects, ensuring that all investments are rigorously analyzed and align with corporate financial objectives. Provide regular financial reporting to senior leadership and stakeholders, highlighting key project milestones, financial performance, risks, and opportunities for optimization. Assess and manage financial risks associated with supply chain and real estate investments, including cost overruns, project delays, regulatory changes, and market fluctuations. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with senior leadership across supply chain, real estate, operations, and IT to ensure that capital investments align with the company’s broader business strategy and operational goals. Lead discussions with international teams to assess specific market needs, growth projections, and supply chain requirements, ensuring that financial investments are strategically aligned with local business objectives. Influence key decision-makers by providing data-driven financial insights that guide decisions on store and distribution center expansions, network optimizations, and supply chain redesigns. Leadership & Team Development: Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals responsible for managing CapEx projects and providing financial support to supply chain and real estate functions. Foster a culture of financial excellence, accountability, and collaboration, ensuring that the finance team is equipped to manage complex financial models and work cross-functionally with other departments. Support team members' professional development by providing coaching, training, and growth opportunities in financial modeling, project evaluation, and supply chain finance. Qualifications & Experience: Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred. Experience:

12+ years of experience in finance with at least 5-7 years in senior leadership roles managing CapEx investments in a global supply chain and/or real estate context within a retail environment. Industry Knowledge:

Deep understanding of retail operations, supply chain management, real estate development, and capital investment processes, especially in a global context. Financial Expertise:

Proven ability to develop and manage complex financial models, conduct project evaluations, and lead CapEx budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes. Global Perspective:

Experience working across international markets, with a strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities in scaling supply chain networks for both brick-and-mortar and e-commerce channels. Analytical Skills:

Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills, with the ability to apply financial insights to drive business decisions and support strategic goals. Leadership & Influence:

Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior leadership decisions. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field and 6 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or related area OR 8 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or related area. 3 years’ supervisory experience. 3 years’ experience leading and completing cross-functional projects.
