Duties: Advise clients on a range of private equity transactions, including leveraged buyouts, rollups, and minority capital investments Manage complex acquisitions for private equity funds and other investment entities Collaborate with clients to develop transaction strategies and provide tailored legal solutions Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents related to private equity deals Conduct due diligence and provide legal analysis on proposed transactions Stay up-to-date on legal trends and developments in the corporate and private equity sectors Work closely with senior attorneys and contribute to the expansion of the firm's private equity platform Requirements: 4-5 years of experience handling acquisitions for private equity funds Strong academic credentials, with exceptional written and oral communication skills Ability to manage client relationships and work independently while collaborating with colleagues Experience working on a national platform and managing complex transactions across multiple jurisdictions Education: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Certifications: Active membership in the state bar (Pittsburgh or Dallas preferred) Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering practical legal advice Excellent drafting and negotiation skills Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Client-focused with the ability to provide strategic legal counsel
