Tax Manager

to join our team and take a leadership role in delivering exceptional tax services to a diverse portfolio of clients. This role offers a hybrid work environment, allowing you to work on a hybrid schedule both remotely and from our Torrance, CA office. In this position, you will collaborate with partners, manage tax engagements, and guide a team of tax professionals to ensure high-quality deliverables. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to build trusted client relationships. HIRING NOW: Tax Manager Location:

Hybrid - Torrance, CA Key Responsibilities: Oversee the planning, preparation, and review of complex federal, state, and local tax returns for businesses, partnerships, and individuals. Provide strategic tax planning services to clients, identifying opportunities to minimize tax liabilities and ensuring compliance with current regulations. Manage multiple engagements and deadlines while maintaining the highest standards of quality and accuracy. Mentor and lead tax staff and managers, providing coaching and professional development opportunities. Collaborate with partners on business development initiatives, expanding client relationships and growing the firm's tax practice. Stay current on tax laws, trends, and compliance requirements to provide proactive advice to clients. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA license required). 5+ years of public accounting experience focusing on tax, including supervisory or management experience. Expertise in federal, state, and local tax laws, with experience serving both individual and corporate clients. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and deliver high-quality results. Proficiency in tax software and MS Office applications.
