Our client, a leading nonprofit organization, is seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead their financial operations and ensure long-term sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement financial strategies, plans, and budgets that align with the organization's goals and objectives.

Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to the CEO, Board of Directors, and relevant stakeholders.

Lead the annual audit process and ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements.

Manage the organization's grants, ensuring proper tracking, reporting, and compliance with grant requirements.

Provide strategic financial analysis and recommendations to support decision-making processes.

Supervise and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Collaborate with other senior leaders to support organizational growth and sustainability.

Develop and maintain effective relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, donors, and financial institutions.

Skill Set:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA required.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within a nonprofit organization.

Strong knowledge of nonprofit accounting principles, regulations, and best practices.

Proven experience in managing audits and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Extensive experience in grants management, including tracking, reporting, and compliance.

Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Strong leadership and team management abilities.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

High level of integrity and commitment to the mission of the organization.
