Please note: This role will be required to be in our SF office at minimum 2x/week (Tuesdays & Wednesdays) What you’ll be doing: Supports all aspects of accounts receivable, including revenue recognition, invoicing, analytics, collections, and cash applications. Collaborate with different stakeholders to ensure that different revenue streams are captured in a timely and correct manner. Prepare and reconcile accounting records with reports from different payment platforms, for example, Stripe, App Store, Google Play, PayPal. Prepare and record journal entries related to day-to-day operations such as payroll, lease expenses, and so on. Assist junior accountants in performing their routine tasks. Issue intercompany invoices and perform monthly reconciliations among subsidiaries. Prepare account reconciliations and investigate variances as needed. Prepare balance sheet flux comments. Assist with and drive system enhancements and/or implementations. Improve efficiency on existing processes and reconciliations by challenging current methods. Assists with year-end audit process. Provide support with ad-hoc journals, accruals, projects, and reporting as requested. What you’ll need to be successful: A Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or similar is required. 6+ years of experience in general ledger accounting. Strong Microsoft Excel skills are required. Experience with NetSuite preferred. Problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a dynamic environment, juggle multiple projects and deliverables. Highly organized, great attention to detail, matched with the ability to see and communicate the big picture. Ability to conduct accounting research and summarize results accurately and independently. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
