We are currently seeking a
Program Analyst
to support our Patuxent River, MD customer. The Program Analyst will provide acquisition and management support to the Air Vehicle and Engines (AVE) Integrated Product Team (IPT)
Functional Description:
Applies analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives. Analyzes requirements, status, budget and schedules. Performs management, technical, or business case analyses. Collects, completes, organizes and interprets data relating to aircraft/weapon/project acquisition and product programs. Tracks program/project status and schedules. Applies government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management and data management.
Duties: Use the AMS suite (Common Spend Plan Tool (CSPT), Program Management Tool (PMT), CDRL Tool), Program Budget documents, and other data visualization tools to conduct program level analysis, execution feasibility, and risk identification. Ability to tie SPIDS to PIDS and coordinate for Procurement documentation generation. Maintain program level, financial status knowledge to assist BFMs and Program Managers during the planning and execution phases Assist IPT in preparation of charts and input for briefings in support of weekly spend plan reviews, monthly financial reviews, software planning and execution, program briefs and various other program briefings/drills. Utilize Excel, Project, PowerPoint or other data visualization tools to provide updates to the IPT as needed Assist with building/updating program schedules. Utilization of Microsoft spreadsheets and Project Assist with building/updating program brief Attend various meetings to include IPT meetings, Spend Plan Reviews, Contract Status Meetings, BFM/Contracts review, Common Spend Plan Tool Stakeholder meetings, Software Planning and Execution and other meetings as necessary Provides support with a variety of management activities, corporate initiatives, special projects, and data calls, which could have significant impact on the organization.
Required Education:
Bachelor's degree in a business, management or relevant technical discipline. Allowable Substitution: An AS or AA degree plus two (2) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree. Four (4) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.
Required Experience:
Must have three (3) to ten (10) years of experience performing duties described in the functional description.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
