Description
Core Responsibilities: Conduct inspections; receiving, 1st piece, in-process, final inspections, and reporting. Help develop sampling plans. Production line quality support activities. Assist in PPAPS, Control Plans, FEMA, Gage R&R as applicable. Ensure compliance and assist with adherence to the Quality Management System (ISO 9001). Liaise and communicate with other departments. Report quality anomalies to the supervisor and initiate non-conformance reports. Process returned material from customers as per company's procedures. Internal gage calibration and auditing/sorting of parts as assigned. Daily, weekly, and monthly reports and other data entry as assigned. Qualifications:
High school diploma. Mechanical aptitude and basic math skills. Experience using inspection tools such as: height stands, calipers, micrometers, thread gages, pin gages, etc. High level of visual awareness and attention to detail. Ability to stand for long periods of time. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite. Ability to read a basic blueprint. Knowledge of advanced measuring equipment (Microview, CMM) and GD&T (preferred). Desired Soft Skills:
Team player with a positive attitude. Excellent time management skills. Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and at times independently based on the work requirements. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
