Helpdesk Specialist
Our client is seeking a talented IT Helpdesk Specialist to join their innovative team. This role involves providing crucial technical support across various channels, ensuring employees experience seamless IT operations. The ideal candidate will bring exceptional communication skills, a solid technical foundation, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
This role is onsite in Vancouver, Washington with the possibility or hybrid work.
Helpdesk Specialist Responsibilities
Configure, troubleshoot, and support desktops, laptops, printers, phones, and other devices.
Provide assistance with email, enterprise applications, and web applications.
Respond to and resolve submitted work orders within the IT helpdesk queue.
Create and manage user accounts in Active Directory.
Manage cloud services, including Azure and Office 365.
Perform Windows scripting using PowerShell, VB, or Python.
Create PC images using Kace imaging software.
Helpdesk Specialist Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years experience in an IT Help Desk or Desktop Support environment, or relevant certifications (Microsoft, CompTIA, Cisco) in lieu of experience.
Proficiency in reading, speaking, and understanding English.
Ability to interpret various instructions in written, oral, or schedule formats.
Strong multitasking abilities.
Physical capability to operate computer hardware and software.
Highly organized and detail-oriented.
Strong prioritization and deadline management skills.
Effective research and problem-solving skills.
Flexibility to work varying hours and shifts as needed.
Expertise in PC troubleshooting and networking within a Microsoft Active Directory domain.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft desktop products.
Proficiency in Group Policy Object creation and management.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into internal knowledge base entries.
Strong interpersonal and teamwork capabilities.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Proven problem-solving expertise.
Salary: $53k-$60k/year. (DOE)
