Primary Purpose: Serve as the point person for all of the charters Skyward software needs. This position requires a candidate who is detailed oriented and has strong Skyward software knowledge. Under direct supervision, perform data entry including attendance records and Public Education Information Management System (PEIMS) data. Qualifications: Education/Certification: High School Diploma/GED Special Knowledge/Skills: Ability to use personal computer and software to develop spreadsheets and databases, and do word processing, Skyward Experience Proficient keyboarding, file maintenance, and 10-key skills Ability to meet established deadlines Experience: Skyward Student Management Experience (minimum 2 years of experience preferred) Major Responsibilities and Duties: 1. Provide front-line response and prioritization for staff, students, and district personnel requiring software and network assistance. 2. Assist with Skyward technical training for district and campus staff. 3. Creating and updating templates for progress reports, report cards, and transcripts. 4. Configuration of school calendars, grade mark groups, academic areas, etc. 5. Maintenance of data tables - medications, absence codes, addresses, etc. 6. Setting up security groups to ensure users have specified access and assigning staff to correct group/campus. 7. Creating Attendance and Discipline letters and configuring automated processes. 8. Data validation and data quality. 9. Point of contact with Skyward for configuration changes, questions, and enhancement requests. 10. Setting up users and assigning courses in Skywards Professional Development Center. 11. Enrollment changes/corrections. 12. Training staff members as needed. 13. Maintain confidentiality. Records, Reports, and Correspondence 14. Creating data mining reports, custom reports, and extracts. 15. Maintain a log of media calls and information requests. 16. Compile, maintain, and file all reports, records, correspondence, and other documents as required. Other 17. Follow charter safety protocols and emergency procedures. 18. Any and all other duties as assigned by your immediate supervisor. Supervisory Responsibilities: None.
