Business Analyst

Must-Have Qualifications: In-depth knowledge of systems technology and cybersecurity. Proficiency in creating Visio diagrams and using the Microsoft Office suite and internal templates. At least 4-6 years of experience in the Business Analyst field. Expertise in process mapping and documentation systems. Strong presentation skills for process improvements. Exceptional writing skills for clear and effective communication. Nice-to-Have Qualifications: Experience in the utilities industry. Experience with IT projects. Cybersecurity certifications such as GDSA, CISSP, or CCNA. Background in software engineering. Experience in the cybersecurity field. Day-to-Day Activities: Supporting the Verified Trust Program with cybersecurity initiatives. Working with the legal department to identify and secure systems with PII. Interviewing team members to understand data usage and employee ID systems. Gathering and documenting business requirements. Conducting technical assessments for new software acquisitions. Documenting and optimizing existing processes. Organizing and summarizing meeting notes for stakeholder consumption. Conducting process mapping interviews and developing detailed maps. Scheduling and leading requirements gathering sessions. Developing testing plans and adapting to project priorities.
