Director of Development & Donor Relations

, you'll be a key leader driving NCF's mission. Youll shape our asset development strategy, nurture donor relationships, and foster a culture of collaboration and innovation. Your work will directly impact the growth of philanthropy in Nevada and support transformative community initiatives. Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership & Team Management Develop and execute comprehensive strategies for business development, donor engagement, and community outreach Lead and mentor a team of development professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration Report directly to the CEO and participate in strategic planning at the executive level Set and achieve ambitious development goals (new business & legacy donors) while ensuring sustainable growth Asset Development & Growth Work with CEO to create and execute on business development strategies to grow the foundation's assets through planned giving, endowment building, and complex gifts Monitor and analyze development trends and adjust strategies accordingly Ensure best practices in donor database management and gift processing Donor Experience Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective donors, including individuals, families, and corporations Design and implement innovative donor stewardship programs that enhance the giving experience Create personalized giving strategies that align donor interests with community needs Develop and oversee donor recognition programs and special events Community Engagement & Impact Serve as a key brand ambassador for the foundation in the community Identify and cultivate new partnership opportunities to expand the foundation's reach and impact Oversee community outreach initiatives that raise awareness of the foundation's mission

Qualifications: 7+ years of progressive experience in development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role Proven track record of successful fundraising and relationship-building Experience managing and mentoring development professionals Strong understanding of philanthropic vehicles and planned giving strategies Excellent communication and presentation skills Strategic thinking and analytical capabilities
