Role: Network Engineer
Location: Bellevue, WA (Onsite)
Job Type: Contract
Job Description: Lead and participate in network-related projects, ensuring they are completed on time aligning to the sprint planning and within the budget. Communicate project status and progress to stakeholders Develop detailed network diagrams and documentation. Install, configure, and test the network equipment. Implement best practices for network design, deployment, and maintenance. Provide technical support and guidance to junior network engineers and other staff members. Coordinate with Local IT Support teams, vendors and service providers to ensure the timely delivery and implementation of network solutions. Strong Hands-on Experience with configuring and deploying routers, switches, and access points from vendors like Cisco, Arista etc Proficiency in designing network architecture for various environments (e.g., Enterprise, Data Center, Labs Etc) TCP/IP: In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and their configuration. Routing Protocols: Proficiency in routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, and RIP. Switching Technologies: Understanding of VLANs, STP, VTP, and other switching concepts. Wireless Technologies: Familiarity with wireless networking standards (e.g., IEEE 802.11) and wireless LAN design. Network Infrastructure Method of Procedure (MOP) creations, change implementation on live/production infra. Proficiency with diagramming tools like Microsoft Visio. Ability to create detailed network design documents, configuration guides, and operational manuals. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
