Sigma Defense is seeking a
Senior Systems Specialist
with seven years experience in a technical position, capable of providing general P8 support and engineering solutions to platform systems and software.
The ideal candidate is an individual with three-years experience in concept development, requirements definition, design, integration, testing, and training of P-3C andP-8A systems and software, with demonstrated experience in development, integration, testing and training on avionics systems for the P-3 and P8A platform ASW, ASUW, and reconnaissance missions including P-3C and P-8A operational experience and P-8A integration, test and/or training experience. They will have demonstrated experience working in MPRA laboratories, including P-3C AIP PHIC and the P-8A IL/SDL/MSIL and WSIL, as well as experience operating the P-8A Mission Systems, Aircraft Systems, MCDS and TOMS. They will also be familiar with DoD NAVAIR acquisition of major MPRA upgrades, including support during NAVAIR budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.

Requirements
7+ years of relevant experience. Experience with various computer programs and software such as: NMCI, RDTE, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Adobe Acrobat Pro. Personnel Clearance Level:
Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance. Education Requirements:

Experience with NAVAIR, MPRA, P8A, Aircraft Systems, Software, and Cybersecurity. Essential Job Responsibilities (not all-inclusive):
Act as PMA-290 Mission Systems Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL) for Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) and Common Data Link (CDL). Lead a team of United States Government (USG) and Contractor Support Services (CSS) engineering and logistics personnel to ensure program execution within the approved budget, schedule, and performance. Collaborate with a Sigma team of P8-experienced pilots and engineers to combine their aviator input with external agencies (including OEM, engineering, activities, test pilots, Fleet introduction representative, and deployed squadrons) in guiding process development efforts to enhance the operational capability of the weapons platform. Lead contract-planning activities to include Statement of Work (SOW) development, Contract Deliverable Requirements List (CDRL) development, proposal evaluations, contract negotiations, and contracting Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) hardware for non-recurring engineering (NRE) and production contracts. Manage Funding of concurrent NRE efforts for multiple configurations of the P8A platform with the financial and acquisition analysts. Monitor Contractor program schedules to ensure significant milestones, minimize program impacts due to missed milestones, and identify opportunities to recover schedule. Coordinate with other USG entities to determine Government testing, validation, and verification requirements throughout engineering change proposals (ECP) and configurations management (CM). Coordinate on behalf of P8A Program for all participants to include domestic (USN), cooperatives, and Foreign Military Sales (FMS). Salary Range:
$90,000 - $130,000, annually.
