Description
JOB DESCRIPTION
Assist with land and lease mapping, development planning, and other various mapping and geospatial data maintenance in support of exploration and production operations. Assist with publishing and maintaining content on the company's ArcGIS Enterprise Portal and designing, building, and maintaining Web Maps and Web Mapping Applications.
Responsibilities: Provide mapping support to the Land Department. Map leases and other agreements and maintain linking with Quorum land system. Provide mapping support to Asset Teams to assist with development planning (i.e. planning horizontal wellbores, surface pads, and facility site locations and layouts). Prepare various maps and plats for filing with state and federal regulatory agencies. Utilize 3rd party data providers to research, analyze, and organize data, to prepare and maintain Activity Maps, Competitor Maps, and other maps and data products to support acquisition and divestiture activities. Publish map services to ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise (Server and Portal). Design, build, and maintain GIS Web Maps and Web Apps on ArcGIS Portal. Utilize Python scripting and ESRI Model Builder to automate data maintenance and map production. Assist GIS Manager with determining project scopes and schedules and growing the adoption of the GIS Enterprise platform across the organization. Assist with growth and capabilities of the GIS Team by staying up-to-date on GIS and ESRI technology, being a GIS subject matter expert, and mentoring junior GIS staff. Manage other GIS projects independently under supervision of the GIS Manager. JOB BENEFITS

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, or related field. 5+ years' experience with and proficient in ESRI ArcGIS software (ArcMap, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise (Server/Portal), ArcGIS Online. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Experienced with SQL and/or Python scripting. GISP Certification preferred. Oil & Gas experience preferred. Familiarity with Title documentation (leases, deeds, easements, surface agreements) and land legal descriptions (PLSS, meets & bounds, etc.) preferred. Must possess strong computer, communication, and problem-solving skills, and be very detail oriented. Must be able to prioritize and multi-task incoming requests and maintain professional communication with inter-departmental contacts and asset managers.
