Charlotte, NC - Hybrid (3 days onsite in a Week) . Ideally looking for applicants with a solid background in the financial services industry. Pay: $65-68.23/hour All Inclusive; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Broker Dealer Regulatory Reporting Technology Function is set up to replace legacy systems and processes with efficient technology stack, end-to-end automation of the daily report generation process and data sourcing from approved data source (ADS) there by enabling the firm to calculate the accurate amounts and report the activity to SEC, FINRA. Broker Dealer Regulatory Reporting Technology will be working on automating the FOCUS report generation by sourcing the data from Authorized Data Sources and reducing the manual adjustments of data. Recruiting a Database developer with data warehousing application experience is very critical to meet Projects tight SLA reporting deadlines as it involves complex problem solving in the areas of data migration, application programming upgrade, backward compatibility, regression and user training. Furthermore, an overarching understanding of the banks reporting processes and ADS systems is required for meeting design and delivery objectives. Responsibilities include: Design Develop database solutions enhancements in automating regulatory report generation process for Broker Dealer business. Performance tuning of the existing application to enable fast and reliable intraday activities for the end users. Active contribution to application lifecycle including maintenance, release management, critical bug fixing and ensure error free delivery of the software solution. Communicate effectively to obtain agreement between business partners and escalate items, when needed, to ensure execution activities remain on track. Troubleshoot problems in Production and lower environments Partner well with the Scrum Master, Project Manager, and other Agile team members. Required Skills: Hands-on experience in Database architecture and development with Oracle 12c/19c with efficient SQL, performance tuning and debugging skills. Good understanding of data warehousing tools such as Informatica with efficient data transformation and processing skills. Good understanding of Job Schedulers like Autosys, Python programming language and Unix Shell Scripting. Domain knowledge of Investment Banking/Regulatory reporting is a plus. A good technical aptitude with an ability to take direction and lead as and when necessary An ability to contribute constructively in open discussions and being able to work with competing ideas to achieve project success with approved ideas.
