Oracle Supply Chain Planning Solutions Architect

to join our team located remotely. Note: there may be travel involved.

Job Overview:

The Oracle Supply Chain Planning Solutions Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting Oracle-based solutions to optimize the supply chain planning processes. The individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, define system architecture, provide technical leadership, and ensure successful delivery of Oracle SCM solutions. This position will involve both technical and business consulting, including system integration, configuration, and process optimization.

Responsibilities

Solution Design & Architecture :

Lead the design and architecture of Oracle Supply Chain Planning solutions, including modules such as Oracle Demantra, Oracle Advanced Supply Chain Planning (ASCP), Oracle Global Order Promising (GOP), and Oracle Inventory Management. Understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and effective Oracle Supply Chain Planning solutions. Define and document architecture and design specifications to meet business goals and ensure system compatibility.

Implementation & Integration :

Oversee and manage the end-to-end implementation of Oracle Supply Chain Planning modules, including data migration, system configurations, and customizations. Collaborate with business analysts, functional consultants, and IT teams to integrate Oracle SCM solutions with existing systems (ERP, third-party applications). Ensure seamless integration with other Oracle and non-Oracle systems to enable effective data flow across the supply chain.

Process Optimization :

Analyze existing supply chain processes and provide recommendations for improvements, leveraging Oracle tools and best practices. Develop solutions to optimize inventory management, demand planning, production scheduling, and supply chain visibility. Drive continuous improvement efforts by leveraging new Oracle product features and functionalities.

Technical Leadership & Support :

Provide technical guidance and leadership to junior team members, helping to resolve complex technical issues and support problem-solving efforts. Serve as the primary point of contact for escalations related to system design, configuration, and troubleshooting. Ensure that solutions are aligned with best practices, security standards, and Oracle's roadmap.

Stakeholder Communication :

Work with business stakeholders to understand supply chain challenges and design solutions that meet their needs. Present architectural solutions to senior management and other business units to gain buy-in and support. Collaborate with project managers and other team leads to ensure timely and successful project delivery.

Testing & Quality Assurance :

Lead testing efforts to ensure that the system performs as expected, including user acceptance testing (UAT) and system integration testing (SIT). Identify and resolve defects, performance issues, and system discrepancies during implementation.

Training & Documentation :

Provide training and knowledge transfer to business users and technical teams on the use of Oracle Supply Chain Planning applications. Create comprehensive documentation for solution architecture, configuration, and customizations.

Qualifications

Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience :

7+ years of experience in Oracle Supply Chain Planning (SCM) solutions, with at least 3-5 years in a solutions architect or senior consultant role. Strong expertise in Oracle Cloud and/or Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Supply Chain Planning modules. Experience with Oracle Advanced Supply Chain Planning (ASCP), Oracle Demantra, Oracle Global Order Promising (GOP), and Oracle Inventory Management. Solid understanding of business processes related to demand planning, inventory management, procurement, production, and distribution. Previous experience in end-to-end implementation, configuration, and integration of Oracle Supply Chain Planning solutions.

Technical Skills :

Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle Fusion, and Oracle ERP modules. Proficient in SQL, PL/SQL, and other related technologies. Strong understanding of system integration, APIs, and web services. Experience with data migration, reporting, and analytics tools.

Certifications

(Optional but preferred):

Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) in Supply Chain Management or Oracle Cloud. Relevant certifications in project management (e.g., PMP) or other technical areas.

Soft Skills :

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Strong project management and organizational skills.

Desirable Attributes:

Experience with Oracle Cloud-based supply chain solutions. Exposure to industry-specific supply chain practices (e.g., manufacturing, retail, distribution). Ability to handle complex business and technical challenges and deliver effective solutions.

The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $81,978 to $178,090. Please note that the salary range posted reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits or any potential equity or variable bonus programs.
