Job Summary

We are looking for a Technical Lead to spearhead the implementation of advanced data governance, metadata management, and data quality initiatives using Informatica CDGC. This is a hands-on role where you will provide technical leadership while designing and deploying scalable data systems. As the Technical Lead, you will drive the architecture and integration of data governance frameworks to ensure data reliability, quality, and transparency across the organization.

Key Responsibilities Architecture & Deployment: Design and implement a comprehensive metadata management framework using Informatica CDGC, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and workflows. Project Leadership: Lead and manage multiple initiatives to optimize and maintain high availability, performance, and scalability of data governance systems. Data Lineage: Drive efforts to map and document data flow across systems, ensuring data lineage is clear, reliable, and transparent for all business-critical operations. AI & Automation: Leverage CLAIRE (Informatica's AI engine) to create AI-powered data quality reports, enhance exploratory data profiling, and deliver actionable insights to improve data quality across the organization. Data Quality Standards: Develop, implement, and enforce data quality standards, including the implementation of GE-specific data quality rules, and monitor compliance over time. Innovation & Tools: Continuously evaluate and recommend emerging tools and best practices in data fabric technologies and data governance to improve organizational processes. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with data engineers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives and ensure seamless project execution. Leadership & Mentorship: Provide mentorship and technical guidance to team members, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability within the data governance team. Required Qualifications

Informatica CDGC/EDC Expertise: Extensive hands-on experience configuring and optimizing Informatica CDGC (and EDC) with a strong understanding of its advanced features and capabilities. Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, or SQL) for custom rule implementation and automation. Data Governance: In-depth knowledge of metadata management, data lineage, and their roles in enterprise data management and data governance frameworks. AI & Automation Knowledge: Familiarity with CLAIRE and other AI tools used to automate and enhance data quality processes. Problem-Solving Skills: Strong strategic problem-solving ability, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving complex data-related issues. Leadership Experience: Proven track record of leading technical teams, managing competing priorities, and successfully driving initiatives to completion.

Preferred Qualifications

Additional Tools: Experience with other data governance and cataloging tools (e.g., Alation, Collibra, Talend).

AI Data Fabric/ Mesh: Experience building or working within an AI Data Fabric or data mesh environment.

Cloud Expertise: Understanding of cloud-based data ecosystems, particularly AWS, Azure, or GCP, and how they integrate with data governance tools.

Certifications (if any)

Informatica Certifications: Any Informatica CDGC or related certifications.

Cloud Certifications: AWS, Azure, or GCP certifications are a plus.

Data Governance Certifications: Certifications in data governance or metadata management (e.g., Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP)) are desirable.
