We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our company. As the Accounting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial operations of our diverse portfolio of properties. This position requires a strong background in accounting, exceptional leadership skills, and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the accounting team responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
  • Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with industry regulations.
  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
  • Coordinate month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations, accruals, and financial audits.
  • Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations to management.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, internal controls, and company policies related to accounting.
  • Collaborate with operational departments to optimize revenue recognition, expense management, and cost controls.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives to streamline accounting processes, enhance efficiency, and strengthen internal controls.
  • Supervise and train accountants and accounting clerks.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation preferred but not a must.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting.
  • In-depth knowledge of hospitality accounting principles, including revenue recognition, cost control, and expense management.
  • Proven experience in supervising accounting teams and managing financial operations.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze financial data and identify trends.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Leadership abilities, including the ability to motivate and mentor team members, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Integrity and ethical conduct in handling sensitive financial information.
