Skookum is seeking a reliable and helpful Janitor with a positive attitude. Typical duties include but are not limited to: Restroom Cleaning - sanitize and clean all toilets, urinals, sinks, fixtures, partitions, walls & doors. Restock supplies. Collect trash and replace liners. Sweep and mop floor. Follow cross-contamination procedures. Office Cleaning - sweep, mop, vacuum according to schedule. Spot entry doors. Clean halls and high traffic areas - sweep, mop, vacuum, buff, and clean carpet according to schedule. Clean entrances and exits - sweep, mop, vacuum according to schedule. Trash - empty trash in; lunchrooms, coffee areas, restrooms, shower/locker daily. Office areas trash according to schedule. Restock supplies - restock supplies daily. Dusting - dusting in lunch/coffee areas, restrooms, shower/locker areas, and dust free areas only. Clean stairwells - sweep, mop, vacuum, wipe handrails according to schedule. Clean showers - clean all shower stalls, damp wipe for dust, restock supplies, mop floors following cross contamination procedures. Maintain Janitor Closets - clean and organize. Clean and rinse all equipment before storing. Clean ice machines. Change light bulbs and clean lamp receptacles. Change privacy and shower curtains. Wet/Dry mopping - wet/dry mop each floor according to schedule. Sweeping - sweep each area according to schedule. Communicating with customers - always be courteous and communicate in a professional manner when talking with customers. Must be able to work up to a 40-hour work week. Qualifications: 6 months of facilities maintenance experience is preferred. Must be able to communicate with others in a courteous and helpful way. Must be able to work independently.
