(VISTA) is currently seeking an IT Project Manager II to support our NAVSEA customer in Washington, D.C. This is a hybrid position reporting onsite at the Washington Navy Yard one day a week and as needed for meetings. For this position, VISTA will only consider applicants with an Active DoD Secret Security Clearance or higher. Responsibilities: The IT Project Manager II will translate larger program requirements and goals into well designed project plans and assist the client in developing innovative solutions to complex problems. They will convert broad program objectives into well-structured project plans and help the client create innovative solutions to solve dynamic issues. The ability to leverage and accelerate the adoption of Agile project management methodologies will be key to being successful in this role. Certificates/Security Clearances/Other Required: Active DoD Secret Security Clearance Desired: Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification Scrum Master, SAFe Program Consultant, Agile Practitioner, Agile Project Delivery Management (APM), or Lean Six Sigma Blackbelt Certification Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree AND 10 years of demonstrated experience in DoD Program Management and Acquisition Management for ACAT programs across the acquisition life cycle including 3 years of IT project management experience OR an Associate's Degree AND 14 years of experience; 16 years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree Experience planning, scheduling, coordinating, and delivering IT projects Experience developing program baselines and identifying program risks Knowledge of technical concepts, best practices, and developing client solutions Ability to work independently with minimal direction, and help lead a team Ability to anticipate, mitigate, and resolve risks and conflicts across work-streams Active DoD Secret Security Clearance Desired Qualifications: Experience with performance management improvement in support of IT governance Knowledge of Governance Risk and Compliance management to ensure that projects support appropriate risk standards and compliance requirements Knowledge of vendor management to ensure that vendors, contracts, and Service Level Agreements are aligned Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification Scrum Master, SAFe Program Consultant, Agile Practitioner, Agile Project Delivery Management (APM), or Lean Six Sigma Blackbelt Certification Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000 annually Applicants selected for this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
