*Job Summary* We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and a commitment to providing high-quality dental services. *Key Objectives & Responsibilities* Perform hygiene visits using GBT (Guided Biofilm Therapy) Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, periodontal disease, gingivitis and provide recommendations for at home care Take dental x-rays, perform perio charting/patient assessments and preventive procedures on patients Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories as necessary Administer local anesthetics Utilize dental software systems for patient charting and documentation Ensure compliance with all safety and infection control protocols Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment *Requirements* Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program Active state dental hygiene license, PLUS previous experience Must be GBT Certified or willing to be trained Experience with periodontal therapy and treatment planning Proficiency in digital radiography and intraoral imaging Ability to educate patients on oral hygiene and disease prevention Experience with dental software (ie: Dentrix, Ascend) & technology Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Laser Certification Florida Probe (Willing to be trained) Job Types: Part-time Expected hours: No less than 8 per week Benefits: Dental insurance Employee discount Flexible schedule Health insurance Vision insurance Schedule: 8 hour shift No weekends Application Question(s): Are you familiar with GBT?
