Sr Training Specialist (Claims)

What You'll Do : As a Training Specialist you will analyze and determine training needs for claims. You will also develop training programs to meet specific training needs for claims personnel across the PC Company. Other duties may include:
• Coordinate all phases of the claims curriculum development.
• Collaborate with claims personnel to identify specific areas where training is needed and develop training programs to help ensure compliance with Claims Best Practices, as well as various federal and state laws and regulations.
• Organize and promote existing training programs by assisting in scheduling and coordinating training programs.
• Develop a database and maintain training records on all claims personnel. Monitor and analyze employee progress and the overall effectiveness of the training programs and adjust training curriculum accordingly.
• Work with Claims Quality Assurance Specialists on identified training issues.
• Assist the PC Performance Education Manager with identifying expenses and developing the Education and Compliance Department training budget. What It Takes to Join Our Team: College degree or equivalent plus seven years of relevant experience required. Three years of claims or underwriting training experience preferred. Advanced degree or Industry Designations preferred. AINS, AIC, API, AU, or CPCU preferred. Some travel may be required (including overnight stays). Must have strong knowledge of ISO contract and/or FBMC contract and be committed to continuing education. A valid driver's license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Records are required (Some travel including overnight stays may be required).
