Position Summary
Advance Community Healthcare, an FQHC, is expanding our services and we are recruiting for a Part-time or Full-Time Advance Practice Provider (NP/PA) at our new Advance - Axcess Clinic (Urgent Care) located in Raleigh, NC. This role is a unique opportunity for our board-certified medical providers to care for patients with time-sensitive illnesses, accidents & injuries, plus wellness & prevention that need immediate attention of all ages, to an ethnically and socially diverse, patient population in accordance with the values, beliefs and policies of Advance Community Health.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history, physical examination, and diagnostic tests * Diagnose and treat various medical conditions and illnesses. * Prescribe medications and monitor their effectiveness * Developing and implementing treatment plans. * Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient care. * Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records. * Displays sensitivity to the populations served.
Minimum Qualifications
* Physician Assistant /Nurse Practitioner degree from an accredited institution. * Current North Carolina PA-C or NP license. * Completed residency training (REQUIRED) * At least one year of experience in a primary care setting functioning at the full extent of training and licensure * Strong commitment to practicing in a community health setting. * Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting * Experience preferred but not required in urgent care or a similar fast-paced healthcare setting. * Experience with EPIC Electronic Medical Records system preferred. * Completed residency training (REQUIRED) * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
* Proficient in the use of electronic medical records (EMR) systems. * Bilingual in English and Spanish

Hours of Operation: Monday - Thursday 8am -7pm, Friday-Saturday 8am -5pm
