Title: VP of Domestic Franchise Development Position Summary: The VP of Domestic Franchise Development will be accountable for creating and executing a strategic plan to develop the company's domestic licensing and franchising programs. This will include identifying and evaluating new markets, developing relationships with key players, and recruiting and qualifying new licensees and franchisees. The VP of Domestic Franchise Development will be responsible for building and managing the franchise team. Reports to: CEO Salary Range:

$150,000-$250,000/yr + bonus eligible Develop and execute a strategic vision and plan for domestic licensing and franchising expansion, including the identification and evaluation of new markets. Develop effective franchise sales programs that generate interest in the brand while building a franchise development pipeline that produces an inventory of qualified new franchise prospects to meet short- and long-term growth plans. Design and coordinate the execution of lead generation strategy; develop and execute high impact lead generation tactics to drive new franchise sales. Update the company Franchise Packet, including the registered Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) annually. Develop relationships with key stakeholders, including real estate companies, architects and contractors, business leaders, suppliers, and professional organizations. Recruit, qualify, onboard, and provide support to new licensees and franchisees. Develop policies and procedures to enhance the company’s business development practices. Recruit, hire, and build a franchise sales and management team. Work collaboratively with all departments to develop the “system” for franchise growth. Report on the progress of the licensing and franchising programs to Senior Management and the Board; work with the Chief Financial Officer to create and manage the annual budget. Collaborate with the finance team for invoicing and collection, communicating outstanding balances and fee collection on a timely basis. Candidate Profile The ideal candidate possesses: Bachelor's degree in business administration, or related field. A minimum of eight years of experience in domestic franchise development for a multi-unit food and beverage/hospitality business. Exceptional growth capabilities; proven experience leading expansion into franchising. Highly refined franchise recruiting skills with a proven history of delivering franchise and restaurant development goals and objectives. Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills; track record of developing strong relationships with franchisees. Experience developing and implementing franchise development strategies for rapid growth and expansion inclusive of best practices, systems, and processes. Strong research skills and sales aptitude; proven ability to identify new franchisees and markets as well as proactively seek and generate sales leads and pursue and close deals. Exceptional negotiation skills with a collaborative influence style; ability to negotiate contracts and legal documents. Strong understanding of franchise business practices and regulations with the ability to analyze and understand complex contracts and other development-related documents. Strong financial acumen and analytic skills, including P&L management and restaurant financials; ability to assess franchisee performance and profitability and address issues. Strong project management skills with the ability to multi-task. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team. Benefits:
