Job Description The Director, Asset Management collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to optimize Tricon’s single-family rental portfolio across the US sunbelt. Key responsibilities include managing a team responsible for value add services, Tricon Vantage or other similar resident benefit programs, and insurance services. The Director oversees a team focused on driving topline revenue and valuable resident benefits through program optimization, financial analysis and project management. This role requires close coordination with the Asset Management, Legal, Operations, Marketing, Project Management and Accounting/Corporate Finance teams.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead a team to manage new and existing value-add programs (e.g. telecom initiatives, smart home, renters’ insurance, etc.) and other resident benefit initiatives, including goal setting and performance management.
Identify new revenue opportunities with strategic partners and develop recommendations with third-party vendors.
Negotiate contracts with third-party providers and optimize terms.
Partner with operations, legal, marketing, and IT to roll out initiatives, provide training, and facilitate cross-functional optimization.
Support insurance management for property, flood, and renter's claims, including negotiation.
Conduct cost/benefit analyses and present strategic recommendations to leadership.
Prepare performance reports, develop metrics, and evaluate monthly performance against budgets and underwriting.
Collaborate with Asset Managers to enhance portfolio returns and analyze property fundamentals.
Contribute to annual budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow model evaluations.
Ideal Experience:
8+ years in commercial real estate, multifamily/single-family financial analysis, or asset management.
MBA, CFA, or relevant designation in real estate with strong academic performance.
Proven leadership in task delegation and team management.
Expertise in real estate accounting, financial analysis, and valuation metrics.
Strong project management, prioritization, and deadline management skills.
Collaborative team player, fostering a high-performance environment.
Skilled in financial modeling, presentations, and advanced MS Excel/Word; Yardi experience preferred.
Excellent communication, engaging effectively with senior management.
Highly organized, problem-solver, with a focus on continuous development and adaptability.

Salary Range Placement within this compensation range will be determined by the candidate's knowledge, experience and skills.
