Sr Software Developer, PeopleSoft Job Category: Information Technology Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Top Secret Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: None Type of Travel: None The Opportunity: CACI is looking for a Senior Software Developer with a background in PeopleSoft Application Development to join our team supporting an important Department of Justice agency in the National Capital Region. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a team responsible for building and maintaining enterprise software applications to meet business needs. The Senior Software Developer will be a member of an agile team, analyzing current business processes, configuring and building software applications using PeopleSoft, and ensuring the quality of the final solution. Candidates should have strong verbal and written communications skills. Responsibilities: Coordinate with Business Analyst to understand client business needs and requirements Assist in design and development of PeopleSoft applications based on business requirements Upgrade and modify PeopleSoft applications as per business needs Assist in preparing project plans and technical and functional specifications Perform code reviews and recommend improvements Identify and troubleshoot coding issues in a timely fashion Ensure that project deliverables meet business requirements and ensure to complete projects within assigned timelines Provide support in system testing and bug fixing activities Recommend new coding techniques to ensure quality and usability Qualifications: Required: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information technology or equivalent Minimum of 7 years’ experience with PeopleSoft code base Minimum of 7 years’ experience with PeopleSoft technical architecture Understanding of Oracle database structures Desired: Certified SAFe Practitioner Experience with PeopleSoft Federal HRMS is a plus What You Can Expect: A culture of integrity. The proposed salary range for this position is: $94,400 - $198,300. Factors that can influence final salary include geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
