We seek a highly analytical, tech-savvy Senior Business Performance Analyst to drive data-driven decision-making and optimize business operations. This role plays a key part in shaping performance metrics, monitoring trends, and enhancing forecasting and strategic planning. Candidates should have a strong technical background with experience in SaaS and payment processing industries (Fintech). Job Summary

As a critical member of the finance team, the Senior Business Performance Analyst will analyze and interpret complex data to inform strategic decisions. This role requires proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and data analytics. The ideal candidate will thrive on uncovering actionable insights and driving business growth. Key Responsibilities

Business Performance Analysis:

Analyze key performance metrics across business lines, including SaaS product performance, payment processing, and sales. Identify drivers of growth and areas for improvement.

Advanced Excel & Financial Modeling:

Build financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support decision-making. Use advanced Excel skills for data manipulation, ensuring accuracy and integrity.

Data Analytics and Reporting:

Create detailed reports and dashboards using SQL and BI tools like Power BI. Deliver actionable insights into business performance.

Trend Identification and Analysis:

Monitor business trends and provide data-driven recommendations. Proactively propose strategies to improve outcomes.

Weekly & Monthly Performance Monitoring:

Prepare and present performance reports, highlighting key metrics and trends. Collaborate with teams to understand underlying causes and suggest improvements.

Financial & Business Strategy Support:

Work with the CFO to develop in-depth analysis and presentation decks for the executive team and board of directors.

Attention to Detail & Data Integrity:

Ensure data accuracy and maintain consistency in reporting and analysis.

Process Improvement & Efficiency:

Automate reporting processes and improve efficiency through advanced tools and techniques.

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

Experience:

5+ years in business performance analysis, financial modeling, or data analytics. Experience in SaaS or payment processing industries preferred.

Technical Skills:

Advanced Excel proficiency for modeling and data manipulation. Strong SQL skills for querying large datasets. Experience with Power BI or similar visualization tools.

Analytical Skills:

Expertise in analyzing large datasets and developing accurate financial models. Ability to provide actionable business insights.

Business Acumen:

Deep understanding of SaaS business models and payment processing metrics (MRR, ARR, churn, etc.). Knowledge of financial statements and performance metrics.

Problem-Solving & Critical Thinking:

Strong ability to identify issues and propose actionable solutions. Data-driven approach to decision-making.

Communication Skills:

Clear written and verbal communication for explaining complex insights to senior leadership.

Attention to Detail:

Meticulous approach to ensuring accuracy in all reports and financial models.

Preferred Qualifications
