Customer Service Specialist
in South Gate, CA.
As a
Customer Service Specialist , you will:
Accelerate the order intake process by accurately entering Purchase Orders and working with Shipping/Receiving to gather paperwork and test specimens. Communicate with clients to resolve issues such as missing drawings or technical information to avoid delays in order intake. Maintain contact with outside processors and vendors to ensure delivery timelines are met and communicate any delays promptly. Return samples to clients after testing by gathering, professionally packing, shipping, and maintaining open communication. Address customer questions related to orders and provide timely resolutions to complaints, ensuring customer satisfaction. Build and maintain sustainable relationships with customers by providing accurate, complete information and solutions. Assist the Customer Service Group as needed and collaborate with other departments to enhance efficiency. Perform additional duties as assigned to support organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have:
A high school diploma or GED equivalent (college degree preferred but not required). 3+ years of relevant work experience in a similar role, preferably in the aerospace industry or test lab environments like Dickson. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset. A sense of urgency, attention to detail, and the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, and Outlook. Reliability and dependability to meet deadlines and achieve objectives. This is a full-time opportunity. Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM start time (overtime available but voluntary).
Pay Rate:
$17.25 - $24.00 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
