POSITION SUMMARY
Senior Level Engineers perform work on projects as assigned by engineering manager or project manager. Senior Level Engineers are involved with the design of multiple element systems for full facility designs (e.g. carbon capture facilities, compressor stations, pump stations, tank terminals, production facilities, refineries, and chemical plants) with the interface between project managers, design/drafting, and multi-disciplines. Senior Level Engineers are responsible for providing guidance and feedback to the mechanical design and drafting team and filling the lead engineer role on various projects. Senior Level Engineers are experienced in ASME and API codes, as well as experienced with fixed equipment, rotating equipment, and piping. Senior Level Engineers also provide guidance and mentorship to other engineers.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Lead engineering projects involving natural gas compression, carbon capture, crude and product terminals, pipelines, refineries, and chemical plants.
- Proficiency in ASME codes (e.g., ASME B31.3, ASME B31.3, ASME B31.8, ASME Section VIII) and API codes (e.g., API 610, API 650, API 1104).
- Ability to perform detailed design calculations (e.g., hydraulic calculations, valve sizing, and wall thickness calculations)
- Develop detailed designs, reports, etc.
- Prepare design packages for discipline specific work.
- Provide technical input to discipline specific design processes.
- Develop discipline specific design drawing content (e.g., facility layouts, piping and mechanical drawings, P&IDs)
- Prepare discipline specific design specifications and procurement packages.
- Perform technical bid evaluation on equipment and construction bids.
- Develop concepts and configurations for discipline specific items.
- Develop design criteria for discipline specific items.
- Prepare detailed work scopes and man-hour estimates.
- Coordinate efforts of engineers, drafting and other personnel on multidisciplinary projects.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to less experienced engineers.
- Checking of project deliverables vs. design criteria and standards.
- Provide teaching and supervising of others when necessary.
- Perform other technical assignments as directed.
- Participate in interface with client.
