Mechanical Engineer

Job Description
Established multi-disciplined consulting firm with offices in Wisconsin is looking to add a talented Senior Mechanical Engineer to their Des Moines team!

Responsibilities:

• Assist in design, calculations, layouts, sizing, equipment selections, specifications and coordination of plumbing, fire protection and HVAC systems
• Perform code reviews
• Process/review shop drawings and submittals
• Serve as project manager and coordinate project from start to finish
• Build/maintain client relationships
• Mentor/train junior technicians and engineers
• Projects include schools, health care facilities, municipal buildings, wastewater and water treatment buildings and/or commercial buildings

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 6+ years of related engineering experience, specifically HVAC design experience
• PE License
• Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD
• Project management experience

Salary is commensurate with experience.
