We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our client's team in Boca Raton. As a Legal Assistant, you will provide comprehensive support to their attorneys and legal staff. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced legal environment and possess excellent communication and administrative skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, edit, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, pleadings, and contracts.
- File and organize documents in physical and electronic filing systems.
- Maintain attorney calendars, schedule meetings, depositions, and court appearances.
- Conduct basic legal research and gather case-related information.
- Manage client communications, including phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries.
- Assist with client intake and coordinate client meetings.
- File documents with the court and ensure timely service of pleadings and other legal filings.
- Track and monitor deadlines and court dates.
- Perform general administrative duties such as answering phones, handling mail, and ordering office supplies.
- Other duties as assigned by attorneys and legal staff.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant or in a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with legal software and case management systems.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures.
- Notary Public certification is a plus.
