Summary:
ExecuSource is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join a dynamic team. In this role, you will provide technical expertise and leadership in electrical systems design, analysis, and maintenance. As a subject matter expert, you'll work on complex electrical challenges, mentor team members, and contribute to improving safety, reliability, and efficiency in facilities.
What you get to do:
- Lead and support projects involving low to high-voltage systems (up to 230kV), including switchgear, substations, motors, VFDs, UPS, PLCs, and automation equipment.
- Conduct engineering studies (e.g., short circuit, load flow, arc fault, protective device coordination) and recommend solutions.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues, analyze root causes, and propose long-term reliability solutions.
- Develop and review preventive maintenance plans, system integrity reviews, and technical recommendations.
- Oversee design processes, review drawings/specifications, and ensure compliance with standards.
- Monitor factory and field testing of equipment and installations, ensuring adherence to design and quality standards.
- Facilitate cross-functional meetings, uphold organizational policies, and mentor junior engineers.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years in electrical engineering (5+ years in Oil & Gas preferred).
- Proficiency in electrical power distribution design and modeling software (e.g., ETAP).
- Knowledge of applicable codes and standards (IEEE, NEC, NFPA, API).
- Expertise in incident analysis, protective relays, and electrical safety practices.
- Willingness to travel up to 25-30%.
