Job Title: Traveling Superintendent - Commercial Construction (Healthcare & Hospitality)

Location: Nationwide Travel

Company Overview: We are a leading general contractor specializing in large-scale healthcare and hospitality construction projects across the U.S. Known for delivering high-quality, ground-up builds, we are seeking a Traveling Superintendent to join our dynamic team and help lead complex projects from soup to nuts.

Position Overview: The Traveling Superintendent will oversee all aspects of ground-up commercial construction projects, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience managing large-scale healthcare and hospitality projects and is comfortable traveling to project sites nationwide.

Traveling Superintendent Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all phases of ground-up construction projects, from preconstruction to closeout.
  • Develop and oversee project schedules, ensuring milestones are achieved on time and within budget.
  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of subcontractors, vendors, and site teams.
  • Enforce strict adherence to safety standards (OSHA compliance) and project specifications.
  • Conduct site meetings, resolve on-site challenges, and maintain seamless communication with stakeholders.
  • Ensure project quality control through regular inspections and adherence to plans and specifications.
  • Maintain comprehensive daily logs and progress reports for internal teams and clients.
Traveling Superintendent Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Superintendent on ground-up commercial construction projects.
  • Strong background in healthcare (e.g., hospitals, surgical centers) and hospitality (e.g., hotels, resorts) projects.
  • Proven ability to manage projects from soup to nuts, delivering large-scale, complex builds successfully.
  • Excellent leadership, scheduling, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project).
  • Willingness to travel extensively for projects nationwide.
  • Certifications: OSHA 30, CPR/First Aid (preferred).
