The Marketing department is looking for a Designer Intern to join their team in Eden Prairie, MN!
Position Summary:
Cambria seeks a Design intern with strong conceptual thinking and design skills. You'll collaborate with our in-house creative team to develop compelling visual solutions across email, print, digital, and experiential channels. Perfect for a senior-level student or recent graduate, this role offers hands-on experience working alongside copywriters, designers, and art directors to bring the Cambria brand to life.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assist in the development of visual concepts under the guidance of the Creative Director and Associate Creative Directors of Design and Copy to execute against the artistic vision and creative strategy for projects, ensuring alignment with brand objectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business goals into compelling and brand-aligned copy for various channels.
Learn and apply art direction principles to design projects.
Contribute to creative discussions and provide input on design concepts.
Execute design concepts and adapt based on feedback and requirements.
Ensure brand consistency in design and maintain consistency across all projects.
Manage multiple projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
Manage project files, assets, and outputs through to completion.
Contribute to presentations, assist in articulating the creative vision effectively.
Take direction, and feedback well to create work that meets the objective.
Qualifications & Skills:
An Online portfolio that demonstrates a range of ideas with a strong sense of design principles and aesthetics.
Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud software (i.e. Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.). FIGMA knowledge is a plus, not required.
An understanding of printing techniques and production processes.
Familiarity with the processes and technical requirements for web and email design.
Creative mindset with attention to detail.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to adapt to feedback and implement changes.
Eagerness to learn and contribute to design projects.
Flexibility and openness to feedback.
Proactive approach to tasks and responsibilities.
Minimum Requirements:
Education
:
Seeking or achieving a degree in Graphic Design, Art Direction, Fine Arts, or related field. Expected graduation date of 2025, 2026, and 2027.
Experience:
Previous experience in a related field preferred
Systems:
Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite and Google Suites

Travel Requirements:
Limited travel locally (Eden Prairie, Le Sueur, and Belle Plaine)
Physical Requirements:
In-office position requiring telephone and computer use. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds for displays, samples and other marketing materials
Program Dates:
May 19, 2025 - August 8, 2025; M-F; 40 hour work week
