Job Description
Unqork Software Engineer
What you will do:
Application Development: Utilize your certification as a Software Engineer to build mid-level applications in Unqork, transforming business needs into functional applications. This includes collecting, displaying, editing, and deleting data submitted by end-users. Independent and Collaborative Work: Develop entry-level applications independently and mid-level applications with minimal assistance. Data Management: Capture data using appropriate components and best practices, ensuring data integrity and usability. API Integration: Use the Plug-In component to call external APIs, handle the returned data, and troubleshoot API errors. Implement server-side module execution as needed. Innovation and Problem-Solving: Create new patterns and use cases to innovate with the Unqork platform. Address technical issues and challenges effectively. Team Leadership and Mentorship: Guide the team through technical challenges and mentor individual team members to enhance their skills. User Interface Design: Build simple, user-friendly dashboards with functionalities such as opening submissions. Workflow Application Development: Convert business products into workflow applications using basic nodes, customized navigation, and state management. Data Workflow Management: Manipulate simple data structures using Data Workflow to create arrays, tables, and objects. Security Implementation: Implement basic role-based access control (RBAC) and security measures. Module Development: Add modules to complex projects based on specific guidelines, even if the overall application architecture is not fully understood. Testing & Debugging: Conduct unit testing and participate in end-to-end testing to ensure solutions function as intended and meet quality standards. What you will bring to C&F:
Bachelor's degree with 3-5+ years of relevant software development experience. *Unqork training will be provided. Specialist degree or certification is preferred Knowledge of React, Angular, MongoDB, JSON, and API integration. Proficiency in CSS. Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS. Experience in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Agile experience is a plus. Insurance experience is preferred, but not required Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities to interpret business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Ability to adapt to a changing environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently. Demonstrated self-motivation and the ability to stay focused on tasks. #LI-MS

The annualized base pay for the advertised position, located in the specified area, ranges from a minimum of $83,900 to a maximum of $121,600. The actual compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to the market pay for the jobs at each level, the responsibilities and skills required for each job, and the employee's contribution (performance) in that role. To be considered within market range, a salary is at or above the minimum of the range. You may also have the opportunity to participate in discretionary equity (stock) based compensation and/or performance-based variable pay programs.
