Role
Climate17 is working with a leader in the renewable sector that has built over 3 GW of renewable energy projects (solar/BESS) across 13 countries and is developing 13 GW more.
They are actively looking to expand their engineering team with an experienced electrical engineer proficient in developing grid-scale solar PV.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with teams for project support in development, design, and cost estimation.
Gather and analyze technical data and validate Solar PV layouts and electrical diagrams.
Perform energy modeling and support procurement with technical documents for RFPs.
Coordinate detailed engineering for construction projects and interact with EPC companies.
Assist with technical aspects of proposals, contracts, and customer presentations, including site visits and compliance.
Requirements
BA/BS degree in Electrical (or similar) Engineering.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Solar PV and/or Energy Storage commercial development or a generally related construction development process including project development, design and engineering, and construction of energy generation projects.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and PV SYST.
Understanding of NEC and other applicable codes pertaining to commercial Solar PV. Solid understanding of renewable energy markets and project lifecycle.
