What You Can Expect
The Project Management Senior Advisor position is responsible for providing overall management of projects from initial development through final engineering design, construction and final commissioning of the project and project closeout. This position focuses on renewable energy, energy efficiency, and process upgrade projects for Public Sector, Industrial, and Water/Wastewater Treatment Plant clients.
As the Project Management Senior Advisor you will work with ENGIE's Business Development, Operations, Procurement, and Asset Management teams, as well as engineering partners and installation subcontractors. You must have experience managing large, complex, construction projects, preferably design-build.
You'll be assigned as the primary manager of all phases of a project, with the objective of developing and completing projects on time and within budget, while maintaining quality, safety, and cash management standards and producing strong customer satisfaction.
This position is located in Orange, Pasadena, or Riverside, California and reports to the Director of Project Management.
General Manage all aspects of complex $10M - $75M+ Engineer / Procure / Construct (EPC) projects, including project development, scoping, contracting, risk management, planning, budgeting, scheduling, quality control, safety, and client satisfaction. Manage the internal project team including project engineers, on-site construction managers and project coordinators, commissioning engineers and other subject matter experts. Serve as a primary customer contact during the entire development and implementation process, striving for their complete satisfaction with ENGIE's services.
Project Development Support ENGIE Business Development in generating new business. Attend customer presentations and interviews as needed, including board and council meetings. Create, maintain and manage a portfolio of projects. Actively manage the project team through regular meetings to assign tasks and responsibilities, and discuss/document project updates, needs and progress.
Construction Manage projects to assure each project is delivered within established budgets and schedules. Create a procurement plan in collaboration with the project team and internal ENGIE procurement. Manage the procurement of ENGIE-provided major equipment and associated supply agreements.
What You'll Bring A minimum of a four (4) year degree in mechanical, electrical, civil or environmental engineering; construction management or related field will be considered. A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience in the public sector, industrial, or municipal Water/Wastewater industries, with a progression of responsibilities including project development and delivery. Advanced level skills in Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. Ability to handle multiple assignments on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracy. Demonstrated leadership, networking and problem-solving skills. Ability to adapt in a demanding, ever-changing environment. A track record of mentorship and training of project team members. Familiarity with Procore or similar tool.
Additional Details
This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy; this job will require travel and spending the majority of time on the job site. This role requires attendance at a worksite on a daily basis. Must be available to travel domestically up to 25% of the time and with the need for some overnight trips. Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license/clean driving record; needed ability to drive to site locations. Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies. This position consists of outdoor work, while performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions.
Compensation
Salary Range:
$128,400 - $196,765 USD annually. This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate. Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.
