Job Title: CT Technologist Job Specialty: Radiology Diagnostic Job Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Other - (5) 8-hour shifts per week, 1a to 9a Guaranteed Hours: 40.00 Experience: 1 year of CT Technologist experience License: Valid license as a radiologic technologist, nuclear medicine technologist, or in radiation therapy issued by the NYSDOH Certifications: Post primary certification in computed tomography issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required, BLS preferred Must-Have: Relevant equipment knowledge Job Description: - Perform CT scans following protocols and maintaining quality standards - Operate and maintain CT equipment to ensure optimal performance - Provide patient care and ensure their comfort and safety during procedures - Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results - Maintain accurate patient records and documentation - Adhere to radiation safety protocols and procedures - Participate in continuous education and training to stay current with industry trends and advancements in CT technology
