Job Description:
This position directs and maintains the workload of multiple skilled assemblers. Conveys orders and instructions to manufacturing personnel on a wide range of transformer products from simple to complex assemblies. Interprets related paperwork and process specifications pertaining to production. Trains and leads personnel to ensure all requirements includes ANSI/J-STD-001, IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-620 and Engineering Drawing are met.
Essential Functions:
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $80,000-$86,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. Job Description:

Essential Functions:
- Accountable for meeting production schedules.
- Accountable for all training, time standards and quality of work performed by assigned group of assemblers.
- Accountable for all documented processes and compliance requirements.
- Accountable for achieving cost-cutting measures and increasing efficiency.
- Accountable for enforcement of all company safety rules and regulations.
- Responsible for helping to train and mentor assembly staff.
- Interacts and coordinates with other departmental leads to achieve common goals of the organization.
- Assist manager and other leads with troubleshooting and resolving assembly problems, initiating preventative actions as deemed necessary.
- Assist the manager and manufacturing engineers in processes and procedure development.
- Keeping track of his or her own respective assembly defects, perform defect root cause analysis, and implement preventive action plans.
- Mentoring his or her team members to promote L-3 Six Core Values/Behaviors.
- Performs other duties as assigned by Management.

- Inspecting and evaluating the quality of products.
- Must demonstrate skills in organization, clear communications, ethical practices, dependability, process and procedure implementation, and leadership abilities.
- Possess thorough knowledge of Electro-Mechanical drawings, parts lists, engineering orders, wire lists, schematic diagrams, and manufacturing process specifications.
- The qualified candidate must be a team player with a strong conviction towards process control, discipline, and respect among team members.
- Must possess strong people skills and job knowledge with the ability to motivate his or her subordinates.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence utilizing Work, Excel, and Microsoft office.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
