Painter - Tulsa

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Painter will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance inside and outside the properties located throughout the Tulsa Metropolitan Area.

Painter Duties Include:

• Responsible for painting interiors and exteriors of residential properties
• Communicating with Facilities Manager and Maintenance Supervisor to determine their painting requirements and assisting them in project resolution
• Covering floors, furniture, trim, and any other surfaces with masking tape to avoid damage as well as utilizing drop cloths, floor runners, and other protective covers.
• Applying primer and other sealers, as well as ensuring it will properly adhere to the painted surfaces.
• Mix and match paint, as well as stain, and other finishes to the specified job condition, then apply those finishes to surfaces using tools (paintbrushes, sprayer, roller, etc.) to complete.

• Good color vision and aesthetic instincts with an attention to detail
• Ability to lift over 50 lbs. as well as climb multiple flights of stairs at a time
• Familiarity with painting tools, materials, and application
• Good time management skills, tasks are completed on schedule
• Great customer service skills, able to explain procedures to tenants and clients
• Collaborative and able to work well in a team
• Painting Apprenticeship (Optional)
