Job Description

As a Senior Principal Software UI/Frontend Engineer of the Netsec Visualization and Reporting team, you will collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and UI engineers to design and deliver innovative solutions that generate insights into our customers’ network security infrastructure and empower security administrators.

You will lead engineering best practices, coach and mentor team members, architect, design, and implement application features, introduce new tools and libraries, and help solve the most challenging technical problems within the engineering UI team.

Your Impact

  • Build highly graphical and scalable web application features that provide actionable insights into firewalls.
  • Work on complex problems that require in-depth evaluation of requirements and apply engineering techniques to obtain quality results.
  • Identify problems and opportunities, propose and develop simple and attainable solutions to improve the team’s development process and product quality.
  • Establish and implement engineering best practices, including test-driven development.
  • Drive collaborative discussions and create synergy among product feature stakeholders.

Qualifications

Your Experience

  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent military experience required.
  • Minimum 15 years of related programming experience required.
  • Experienced in modern web frameworks and build tools such as React, Redux, Hooks, Webpack, Storybook, and npm/yarn.
  • Experience with CSS/SCSS, AG Grid, and visualization libraries such as Highcharts and D3.js.
  • Experience with creating responsive web applications.
  • Ability to work well with a group of senior and junior engineers in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with UI test frameworks such as Cypress, Jest, react-testing-library, Mocha.
  • Experience with client-side modern build tools and CI/CD.
  • Experience with Git Version Control and Linux environments.

The Team

The NetSec UI team is responsible for delivering UI solutions to our customers. Our team drives efforts to create accessible, performant, and cutting-edge UI and data visualization components/modules.

Compensation Disclosure

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. The starting base salary is expected to be between $144,200/yr to $233,200/yr, plus potential bonuses and stock options.
