Overview
Our bank client is seeking a strategic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive team in Houston. The CFO will play a critical role in shaping the financial strategy of the organization, ensuring financial health, and driving business growth. This position requires a strong leader with extensive experience in corporate finance, risk management, and financial management. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional analytical skills and a deep understanding of financial report interpretation. Must have experience in mergers and acquisitions of banks.
The Bank is open to remote or hybrid work.
Duties
- Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
- Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Manage risk by identifying potential financial threats and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Lead mergers and acquisitions activities to support business expansion and growth initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
- Provide insightful business analysis to guide decision-making processes across departments.
- Supervise corporate accounting functions to maintain accurate financial records.
- Direct treasury management activities to optimize cash flow and investment strategies.
- Collaborate with other executives to drive overall business performance and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a CFO or in a similar senior financial leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of corporate finance principles and practices.
- Expertise in risk management strategies and their application within an organization.
- Demonstrated ability in mergers and acquisitions processes.
- Exceptional financial acumen with a track record of successful financial management.
- Proficient in business analysis techniques to support strategic planning.
- Strong understanding of corporate accounting practices and regulations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- A degree in finance, accounting, or related field; an MBA or relevant certification is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $200,000.00 - $275,000.00 per year
